if you're a new orleans resident, are you in a baton rouge hotel right now? tons and tons of new orleans people are in baton rouge right now, we doubled in size over night, this shit is crazy

there's traffic jams EVERYWHERE - i cant even go buy a sausage biscuit from mcdonalds :( go back home, i want a sausage biscuit

yesterday it was a 6-8 hour drive from new orleans to baton rouge .. I-10 hasnt moved in a day

They are piled all over the interstate all the way up here in Shreveport. 1 hour to make a usual 5 minute drive.

yeah the traffic here in baton rouge is crazy, it took me 25 minutes to go literally across the street to get a can of soup

traffics nuts on this side of town too but still not as bad as gamedays yet

me and my gf drove 30 minutes to go to the mall in hammond, we both hadnt been in like 10 years.. we got there, they had about 3 stores open and the whole place smelled like cat piss :(

Yeah I got out and tried to drive down Coursey this morning and it was a fucking parking lot from everyone trying to get to work via the backroads. Turned right back around and worked from the house. Fuck that shit.

Parents had to evack from Mandeville they are up here now, Dad went up 190 instead of Interstate so they got here fairly quickly this morning. Out here around Oneal everything is fine, 12 is fine till it hits the 10 split then parking lot. Good thing we can use Old Hammond and Oneal to get to Seagan, Sherwood etc. Looks like this one is going off to the east and gunning for Mississippi border if it does not just miss this state completely. Of course there seems to be anothe one coming in soon.

At least it doesn't look like NO is getting the direct hit. The latest eye wall pic is scary as hell. Whoever gets that is going to experience horrendous winds approaching tornado speeds.
