My favorite concerts were

1) Rush -- thomas and mack arena las vegas ( I did some mushrooms, and was with two hot chicks and myself, it ended up very well!!!!! and as that was my first time experiencing a threeseome, I will never forget that, and to this day I thank Neil Pert for the inspiration LOL

2.) Metallica -- again at thomas and mack arena, las vegas,
This is the first, and ONLY doncert I ever used the earplugs for.. it was 3 1/2 hrs of staraight up hard ass Metallica ( if not for the threesome from aforesaid Rush show, this would be number one probably.) I went with a group of ten, we went backstage, and to an after party that just kicked ass!!! I was with the Porn Star Samantha Strong, two of her girlfriends from LA, and two other strippers from Texas that were in town visiting. and four of my buddies. it went well, but did not end up in quite the same success as the Rush concert did LOL

3.) Sammy Hagar/Krokus as the warm up band. -- I was still in High school, and me and seven of my buddies all went in this guys beat up old van, we had a keg in the van ( it was one of those old cargo vans with no windows except for the front ones.) haha My friend puked on these three chicks sitting below us, and one of their boyfriends got upset, I socked him in the mouth, and we ran, moved to the other side of the show stole some seats, and managed to stay for the whole concert with out getting thrown out.. ( ahhh the memories.....) Thanks for this thread man, it is very nostalgic for me.... :thumbsup

kane 09-15-2004 11:10 AM

first concert: around 1987 Scorpions and Winger at the portland memorial collisium. Loved the scops ( still like them when I'm in the mood for hair rock ) I grew up in a small town with little to no radio choices, was young ( about 15-16 at the time ) and still knew that winger was just wrong :)

eddieguy 09-15-2004 11:14 AM

Van Halen in 1984...

SykkBoy 09-15-2004 11:15 AM

Elton John at the Salt Palace in Salt lake City, summer of 1979, I was 9 and my zany, hippy aunt took me, the next night we went and saw Loverboy...

my mother was also pregnant with me at Woodstock, does that count as a first concert?

block 09-15-2004 11:19 AM

Paul McCartney way back in the early 90's... I was pretty young at that time.
