Betting $5000 on a color - which one
 

A buddy of mine has BD today and after a little party the guys are going to the local casino. I'm going to put 5k on a color. Which one do you recommend me to take?

2.5k on red and then 2.5k on black.

By the way, you should keep in mind, that you are putting $5k on the line to win not even $4k ($1k+ will go to taxes)

Dunno about him but our casinos don't have a way of tracking the tax on chips. As long as you don't cash out over a certain amount in one transaction it's tax free. :Graucho

If you got 5K do it the easy way!
Place minimum bet on red.
Looooose or win does not matter.
Place again on red. if you lost double the bet.
Looooose or win does not matter.
Place again on red. if you lost double the bet.
Etc...

I did that a couple of months back but different
after 5(!) red I put 500 on black
and it was fucking red again

Since then I don't go after such "rules" anymore :)
