I'll got ads all over the place... So this girl emails me about a shoot. She's hot... 5'3, 34d and she says her rate is $600 per day. She probally got paid that but I doubt she gets that for every shoot. Why the fuck do some of you guys inflate these "wanna be" models with high rates?? No wonder why I rarely shoot girls from online ads

Tell her your rate and that when she can't cover her rent....You can still shoot her.

I don't know, but I could get a lot from a model in a day I think. Depends on how many hours a day really is to her and what she is doing I would guess.

Yeah, I used to get that a lot too. Some chick would sit there and tell ME what *the standard rate* was, like I gave a shit. I would just say to her "Well, if you're booked solid with work at that rate, then good luck to ya" and that would, as they say, be that.

I set my own rate. I have never gone by what someone says "the industry standard" is. As Aaron said, if a girl finds her phone not ringing and no big offers coming her way, far be it for her to think her shit doesn't stink enough to take a $50 per hour modelling gig and make a few extra easy bucks for a few hours of posing.

I say don't like my rates? Starve.

How many hours does a day involve? If she's stunning hot then that figure doesn't really seem way out of the ballpark.

first off, if this is photo that girl needs to realize she needs to work UP to that rate....that ain't something you start off with

It will go most of the day, with location changes and the MUA work, but I am paying 500.

But this is a class model, and her first nude shoot, so I believe I am getting good value for my money.

I should point out that I was mostly dealing with amateur and first-time amateur models, solo girl softcore, lingerie and bikini shots only.

No matter how gorgeous they are or think they are, one of the biggest red flags for me was when one of them would try to start dictating terms right off the hop. I pay what I pay, period. If you don't like it, then bubbye. There are too many other girls who would love to make $250 for half a day of *cough*work*cough*.

I've got a formula that's worked for many, many yrs and I'll stick to that

I tell girls that I pay $100 an hour, but that rate is capped at $300 for the session ( 3 - 4 hours of work ). So I avoid the scenario of the model trying to to squeese an extra hour or two by being slow. I explain that I cap the rate to keep the session from lagging.

But as far as the $600 day rate, you should just tell her you only need a half-day.

it's business, she tries to get as much as possible and you try to pay as little as possible. the one who need the other the most will "loose". sounds normal to me. if you dont need her at $600, well, then you dont.

apperantly she was worth $600 to others? they must have had a businessplan to get thoose $600 back with profit or otherwise they wont be around for much longer?
