TGP's - WMV vs MPEG
 

I am compressing a ton of clips for our FHG's right now. I have been hearing that TGP/MGP owners are going to stop and some have stopped taking galleries with WMV files. I can give surfers longer better clips with WMV, but i guess the issue is mac users and codex files?
Anyways, i was wondering peoples thoughts on this ... i would really like to keep our TGP files WMV as i am sure other people would like to.

I use both. The quality of WMV is far better but with MPG I get listed more often.
Why should TGP owners stop accepting them? WMV is far superior in size and quality and allmost all people can play them without problems.

I agree with you 100% , which is why i don't understand the not getting listed with them. I am trying to figure out how much of this is the "rumor mill". But i certainly don't want to recompress all of my video clips. Plus since i am making this for our affiliate program, I want to make sure our affiliates get listed! Any TGP owners out there have an answer?

Wish I could answer that, but I know quite a few places won't accept wmv for whatever reason.
