Texas pitcher arrested after chair injures fan
 

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Texas reliever Frank Francisco was arrested Tuesday morning on a charge of aggravated battery after he threw a chair into the right-field box seats and hit two spectators in the head during Monday night's loss to the Oakland Athletics.

One of the fans, an unidentified woman, was bloodied and her nose was broken.

I think someone is about to get paid!! Could you imagine all the personal injury lawyers scurrying to get in touch with this lady with the broken nose. Holy fuck this guy is going to be playing ball for this lady for the rest of his life. LOL!

The fans have the right to shout every obscenity imaginable to the players, yet the players supposed to remain calm and just take it? Hell, I applaud the guy who fought back with a chair. Paying $50 to watch a game does not entitle you to abuse the players mercilessly. Hopefully a fan will one day be beaten to death. That'll teach them a lesson.

Maybe you forgot, that the players are supposed to be professionals?

throwing a chair into the crowd is hardly being professional. If the guy is such a baby that he cant shrug off the insults while hes making millions doing it, then he shouldnt be there to begin with.
