I don't understand why any host would offer only 1 mysql database or charge bucks for additional databases. I mean, what the fuck are you really paying for?

An additional database and a user for accessing the database respectively requires a few hundred bytes of storage space. That's nothing, and it doesn't take long either. Using phpMyAdmin you can add a database and configure a user for it in like 20 seconds.

A norwegian hosting company we use charges like $200 for every additional database we want. That's insane! I mean $200 isn't much, but when it should be $0 it's redicilious (spelling?).
