I love the Dukes and can't wait for this movie. Jessica Simpson will be Daisy Duke and that American Pie dude will be Bo Duke.
I think it's gonna be directed by the Broken Lizard guys too.

Club Dread wasnt that great but Super Troopers was an instant classic, so if this one is anywhere near as good it would be great. I'll definitely check it out if the Broken Lizard guys are involved.

whomever casted it should be shot.
i cant think of worse people to play bo and luke duke.

just from the lead casting i can tell it will be a bad movie becasue they went with big star names instead of good casting. and what that means is that the script is way lacking.

even the owen wilson/ben stiller team would have been better casting than that.

dukes of hazzard was one of the coolest tv shows ever and i know they are going to ruin it.

Jessica Simpson is a great choice. The others are a bit iffy. I haven't seen Knoxville look good in a fictional roll yet. It will require some tight writing to be worthwhile.

There was also like half a season where they used a remote control car for the stunts. It was so fake looking it wasn't even funny.

I expect the movie to have a little cheese factor :glugglug

I love the old show, they are completely going to fuck it up. The first season was filmed in my gradmothers hometown, Covington, GA... the orphanage was the next house over to hers & Ben Jones (Cooter) is a good friend of my Great Uncle.
