If you catch it right when it's tingling it will never really come out, if you catch it when it's already started it will pretty much keep it at that level and it will be better in a few days.

I have the same problem you have, about once a year ever since I was a kid.

I get it when I have stress, which is annoying.. as it helps any. lol

yea i've heard stress does cause them - i think mine are somewhat seasonal though i am pretty sure i have gotten them on account of stress.

i used to try zilactin and herpecin but i think they suck - ill give the abreva or zovirax a shot.

these bastards popped up overnight before i had a chance to even sense them. sneaky sneaky.

been using it for years but it doesnt do much when they pop out.
My suggestion is when you sense the tinggly sensation and grab some ice and put in a bag and press it on your lips for 30 mins or more until the sensation is completely gone...i do it once a day for a couple days and its been working wonders for me....
also some homeopathic remedies that might work...

If it were me, I might take a daily dosage of ~1000mg Lysine + ~1000mg Vitamin C and bump that up to 3000mg during the extremely rare occassion that I had the problem (which luckily I don't, but I know people who do and manage it very well after a little googling for natural answers.)

Also, keep in mind that stress and sugar.. especially, IMO, high fructose (genetically modified) corn syrup can wreak havoc on your immune system which allows this virus to show it's face to the world.
If you drink a lot of soda or sugary drinks.... you probably shouldn't. It's poison on so many levels - IMO ;)

There is no cure for herpes... you may spread it to others while taking this treatment... :1orglaugh
