Gas Prices Will Zoom Up Again

About 700 oil and gas rigs in the Gulf of Mexico are being evacuated and are right in the path of Ivan. These account for about 1 1/2 million barrels of day.

Also in Louisiana the offshore tanker processing platform is at risk. Handles about 1 million barrels a day.

Gas prices could go up to the through the roof high prices we recently went down from.

If you play the commodities and stock market, some easy bets from the devastation about to happen.

I hear Bush wants to create better ties with Canada. I don't think that has anything to do with the fact that Alberta is the 3rd highest producer of oil in the world... ?

buddyjuf 09-13-2004 10:41 PM

KRL, can I plz have 2 mins of your time on ICQ?

It's rather the US government wasting all possible resources for an economy growth.

Americans use 2/3 of the worldwide gas or something like that.No wonder when I look at your gas leeching cars.

He has to find us on a map, first. I don't anticipate him doing that for some time, if ever.

Jesus is going to come and take us all to heaven so might as well use up all the resources and rape the environment now.

Unfortunately it's not that simple. Oil prices are high not because of a lack in supply, but rather because of speculation. Yes, these evacuations may cause oil prices to surge again, but mostly because of the incentive to speculate they bring.

BrainDead 09-14-2004 03:20 AM

time will come when the planet will lose all its stock of oil :feels-hot
