TODAY ...
I just went from a PII 233 to an AMD 2200 ...
I choose a desktop over a lap top for cost reasons.

More bang for the buck in a desk top ...
Although - man I like those lap tops.

psyko514 09-13-2004 11:28 PM

i do all my work and listen to music from my PC.

my laptop is to my right and is used for ICQ, MSN, stats, boards, etc.

i spend most of my time on my PC.

WiredGuy 09-13-2004 11:47 PM

I use my pc for mostly my main job I am working on and my laptop for any side stuff I have going or for bull shit I am playing with.

where is the both option? it looks like that one applies to quite a few of us.

Once I got a laptop, I realized it was pointless to keep anything up to date on my non-portable desktop!

Lykos 09-14-2004 12:35 AM

Desktop most of the time...:2 cents:

i use my 2 desktops just as much, but I have them connected to VNC so I can control them with my laptop

nothing like having 3 machines all in one

excitica 09-14-2004 03:02 AM

Desktop!

Jakke PNG 09-14-2004 03:04 AM

I use my laptop as my desktop..although i have a 17" screen on it along with a 3.2ghz HT processor inside so for all intents it replaces any desktop
