Need Video Editing Software... Whats Really Good?
Instead of paying some overloaded guy $250 for a trailer and waiting weeks and weeks for it to be completed..
I figure I'll just buy me some video editing software and learn how to do it myself... Whats really good |
Sony Vegas 5
|
Final Cut Pro for the Mac rocks!! Thats what my wife uses to edit.
|
Avid, if you can afford it
|
Final Cut Pro.
|
I got final cut pro for a new mac and have no idea how to use it since my DV camera does not have fire wire. How do I connect it to the mac?
|
Adobe Premiere
http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/main.html I've heard good things about Vegas as well. |

I thought that all DV video cameras had fire wire or IEEE 1394 connections. |
Really good or really easy?
If you want really easy and cheap... Pinnacle 9 will do what you need. |
the adobe line is great :thumbsup
|
Vegas Video is all you need for the web. Then get CleanerXL to batch your various file types.
|
notepad.exe
|
I use Adobe Premiere Pro.
|
I think I'm the overloaded guy. LOL
Good luck learning to cut trailers in less time. Making trailers is boring work that a smart businessman wouldn't bother making. programs, time, and frustration is not worth 250? Hmmm.. To bad I only charge 180. I think I need to up my price. |
We have over 100 videos to edit and I'm afraid it's a job I need to get back into. Our editor can't keep up. :(
I can edit on a linear suite no problems, but the Ulead Pro 7 I have is far to clever for a dumb arse like me. Tried Help and got even more confused Guess I will have to buy Adobe and go to the classes they set up. Sucks to be stupid. :eyecrazy |
Adobe Premiere is what I use (and love).
