Wow that is damn nice of her!!!


In other segments on the show, Winfrey surprised a 20-year-old girl who had spent years in foster care and homeless shelters with a four-year college scholarship, a makeover and $10,000 in clothes. And a family with eight foster children who were going to be kicked out of the house they were renting were given $130,000 to buy and repair the home.

I was on Oprah once, and she was alright...but they did pay for my flight, meals, and hotel in Chi-town.....and they even paid for a friend to come with me!

Nice of her to give back a little..That's chump change for her

DAMN, that's crazy. That episode is supposed to air today, I guess that I'll have to check it out. She was on Good Morning America (on the phone) today and the way they made it sound was that it was a trip, I guess that it's much more than that, he he he.

It's nice though how she's giving back to the people. Now if only our government would think about our people.

Yeah Im sure the car company gave her a huge discount to get her to give away their cars on national tv

and with the amount of money she makes every year, she has togive away much more than that to come in on the books where she wants to..

If I ever went they'd be giving out baseball caps or bathroom organizers that day.

Well I am sure she got a good rate.. and she is worth like a billion dollars. She probably makes that in a week.

That is awesome, I love it when she gives away huge ticket items like that. She usually does this stuff around xmas so doing this completely out of the blue is amazing to read.
