what is the best tgp-script?

i'm comparing three tgp-scripts for its features (auto rank sql, aptgp², comus thumbs). it seems that all three scripts have the same important features. am i right?

for which script would YOU decide and why?

I tried comus and liked what it could do .. but felt the admin area was extremely lacking.

I'm wondering if you can still buy MadTGP ? I wanted to check it out but madscripts.net seems to have been pulled.

never used auto rank or auto gallery sql whatever its called only comus it's an all in one tgp management system, has a clean look, runs fast, provides thumb and or text links, easy to customize to your sites needs

For $2000 for a server install it better fucking make me a sandwhich and do my laundry!

I prefer AGS, but Comus is more powerful in how it delivers the galleries and the use of macros. Comus can therefore give you a little higher productivity which is what you're after.

I've never used it .. but that's for an unlimited license... you can use it on as many TGPs as you want.

I agree with you though .. it's pretty damn expensive and it's obviously not worth it if you're going to host less than 8 TGPs on the same box ... and knowing my traffic and BW, I personally couldn't imagine hosting 8 50-100k TGPs on one box. .. and I couldn't imagine paying $250 for a script that will run on a smaller TGP either.
