Sponsors, dishonesty, shaving, lies, deception and fucked up stats
 

Expanding from the thread about Babylon-X.

I'm pissed off with shaving sponsors and dodgy stats. For example on the dodgy stats side, the new top***** program is a complete farce. I'm showing 140 visitors in my referrer stats from a page that doesn't even have any of their links on it! Shame that I can't find a replacement, but all the other per signup sponsors have very shabby teen sites in comparison. However I'm putting my trust in them, as dodgy as the stats are, I don't think that they are shaving.

And once over, why don't any sponsors that pay on the signup allow the webmasters use third party stats? I can only think of one program that does this, all the others use their own stats. Personally I can't trust people like this - I use a partnership program, cashtour, sweet partners, etc and I'll always see signups off of galleries no problem, but when doing galleries with per signup sponsors, I'm in doubt as to whether sales are even being recorded, methinks that a lot of shaving is going on in this biz.

For example, and I'll pick a good sponsor - Fetish Cash. Their per signup stats are their own, but the recurring stats are provided by iBill. Why can't I see per signup stats at iBill?

This sucks.

I agree with you Idinternet. When someone bitches about it they always blame it on the newbie. Oldbies rarely talk about it.

two friends of me agree and guess what...i agree also. With few exceptions the last days I have started using sponsors that have ONLY ccbill, ibill and epoch stats.
