Tools to convert .mpg to .gif?

You cant convert mpg into gif. Mpg is a video file and gif is an image file. You can however makes stills from your .mpg into gifs. Is that what you meant?

TMPGEnc can do mpg --> jpg, to make a gif from jpg is easy :)

open the mpeg in tmpegenc - go to setting>advanced>source range ... print screen, paste into new .psd file ... do what you want with it from there.

save your output file as a gifs interlaced then animate the fuckers.
