Got dirty in the mud today, took the 4x4 and quads out...Pics.

Everything was cool until I got the truck stuck, then I just about put the quad under water at one point, No pics on that one but I was surprised it still started and drove, it was like a submarine.

This place is pretty cool to all the quad and off roaders, its off of Azusa off the 210.

I'll have the video this week, its amazing to see the money people spend on their trucks and the brake so easy.

The guy with most beat up little 4x4 out did everyone. He rolled it, climed the best, drove thru the deepest ditches.

It was a muddy day, I think my skin feels better with the mud bath.

This is why I have a 94 fullsize chevy blazer... the last year of the fullsize blazer (they renamed it tahoe in 95) for my desert toy. Got a 350 v8, 4x4, and if it gets scratched or broken... well so what? So far its been tough as nails, nothing broken and its extremely reliable, I'd drive this thing anywhere.

I wouldnt take my Hummers out, neither my H1 or H2 cause they cost alot and was afraid of getting them dirty

It really makes no sense. They are suppose to be off road vehicles. But as soon as you get a little mud under them, they start making noise, something breaks or something.

You have the H1 and H2, which one do you like better?

Mr Pheer 09-13-2004 12:36 AM

the H2 by a wide margin. The H1 is cool, but its hard to drive in town, its wide and hard to park. Top speed is about 75mph and it rides like a tractor.

H2 is about as refined as any luxury SUV. Has a nice ride, drives great, good power, and both get about the same fuel mileage.

I dont have either one anymore, but I'd buy an H2 again if i ever get off this kick where I dont give a fuck about cars anymore. I hardly leave home so whats the point.. got my bike and a blazer, the wife wanted a new ride so we traded in her 02 330i on what she wanted. Its all good :)

That's cool, I have an H2 but I barely drive it. I don't think its that comfortable. Havent hit the dunes yet with it. Can't really tow anything. Not sure what its good for. But I guess its good to make costco runs.

Yes, please do.
I just can't remember any of the hills there for some reason.

There is no water, nothing to climb, no jumps.

Can I bring some water and try to fill up the lake again.

What are you shooting for...Just fun pics, Videos or Stills.

detoxed 09-13-2004 01:18 PM

I had an 86' Ford Bronco, 5.8liter V8, put some huge mud tires on it, the 86' model can hold bigger tires than the 87-96 Broncos

I drove that thing through all kinds of mud, ditches, water, it was badass
