Did the Cayman Island get damaged due to hurricane?

Reports just in say at one of the major banks on Grand Cayman the roof of the vault was blown off by Ivan and there are millions of dollars in cash blowing all over the island.

Locals are scooping up the cash with whatever containers they can find. The president of the bank was earlier quoted as saying " We can't do shit because we don't keep records so we wouldn't know who to give the money back to anyhow"

I was joking but apparently not too far from the truth.
Up to half the buildings there damaged and one guy said it was a "foam blizzard" meaning I guess that the wind whipped the waves up so much there was foam flying everywhere. That would be amazing to see :uhoh

Hurricane Ivan slams Grand Cayman

Damn... apart from a few satellite phones nobody has heard anything from the Caymans since Sunday afternoon. They are sending a British Navy ship in Monday morning.
