When I was a student of Commercial Photography, my instructor asked me about one of my shooting assignments. He specifically asked, "How much are they paying you to advertise for them?"

I didn't understand the question until he pointed out that I had captured a national logo in my shot. His position was, as is mine now, if they're not paying you to advertise for them, then DON'T do it!

Since that time (many, many years ago), I've never worned any clothing with any corporate logo, other than Harley Davidson. Why H-D? Because I own stock in the company so, yes, I AM being "paid" to advertise for them.

And many stupid clowns proudly promote a national merchandiser totally "GRATIS" and think it's 'cool.'

You want me to parade your logo around? How about putting some bucks in my pocket, then!!!
