Why is it that all tech support people are dumbasses
It seems like they hire the most ignorant fucks to work at support places. You call and tell them what the problem is, and they give you some song and dance about what the problem might be. I said "listen, I know what the problem is, can you fix it or not" and they transfer you to someone who "knows more about this stuff." I know they're just reading everything off a screen, but damn, these people need to get a fucking clue.

yeah it's much much much cheaper when it's outsourced to india. their salary there is about 1/5 of what one typically gets in the US
