I am looking for a good trusted online sports book. I think my bookie is dead or something (last time I heard from him he was real sick). I need in on the NFL action.

Anyone have any good experiences with an online sports book. Actual payout if you win without begging and hoping they will pay etc.

Depends if they're doing their own processing or leave it up to Starnet / World Gaming like most of the other Starnet licensees do. Starnet is slow and often make errors (or at least did). Sportsbook.com is big enough that they may do their own processing... but then there's a special relationship between Starnet & Sportsbook.com so I really don't know what the deal is. I would guess that they are slower than WWTS or CRIS. I personally can't stand the Starnet software and don't trust the company very much.

My research & experiences are a bit dated though so take what you want from my :2 cents:

I'm fairly certain betfair.com cover NFL - again it's aimed at British/European punters, but they ARE reliable - they've paid me over $30000 over the last few years.

Plus, they're a betting exchange, so the prices you get are generally 10 - 20% better than you'd get at normal bookmakers.

Pinnacle has the best lines in the business, thegreek has the most props. Your money is safer there than in a bank. Never heard a complaint against either one.
