This domain name gets about 80 searches a month according to Overture. Should I even bother?

How do you think searches (for the exact term) relate to typeins??

80 searches with the extension or just the term ? if its just the term forget about it. If its with the extension now your talking :)

Thanks for the input guys. I was thinkin' the same thing ... even if it gets 80 typeins/month, which there's no guarantee, ... that's $8 for about 900 hits spread out over a year lol.

and it gets 80 overture/google/yahoo or what ever SE searchers it is a month

now if you get 10 others just like it thats 800 hits a month. That being se traffic you should get at least one sell. so in two months that investment is payed for.

We just bought Xmovies.com and it gets 400 searches on overture a month. But it gets us around 200 typins a day now. The typeins are going to be a lot more than the searches for that domain your thinking of buying.

Buy it, a few bucks are well worth the test and even 1 signup a year will pay for the domain. Not worth it ? Well, see it on a large scale, longer term, imagine 1000 domains like this could already make you 35k, deduct 15k when using directnic because you want a rock solid registrar, leaving you with 20k profit for doing nothing except renewing the registrations once in a while...and if it's 2 signups a year, we are talking about 55k...and if you start develloping the domains with search engine pages...
