Hows LA for new years?
 

Im going to the Vegas show and i feel like spending new years in the US as well. Since i know some people in LA im thinking about going there. Is it any good? Im talking about the Hollywood area.

They have a good homosexual scene over there. Youll have fun

if you like dance music, there is a party in the streets of downtown LA my friend is throwing - they'll have around 12000 people with John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and the Crystal Method DJing, among many others....i've been before and its lots of fun....

its best to get a room at the Standard or the Bonaventure and party there and crash that nite...

Been to LA and Vegas for the first time this spring. LA and Hollywood (been there on Oscar-Weekend) were the biggest disappointments of my trip, while I really liked Vegas on the other side... -> Go to Vegas :winkwink:

Ive been to Vegas before and im going there anyway, i just want something else before i go there. LA always appealed to me.

No not really. The center is small, you can walk anywhere you want. Take a hotel near Damplein or Leidseplein. That way youre always no more than 10 mins away from the bars and clubs.

I dont know what kind of music/places you like. You can walk around and check several bars/coffeeshops and get drunk and or stoned. Or you can go to a big club but keep in mind you have to buy tickets for new years evening. If you go unprepared they wont let you in anywhere but small bars.
