You are correct there. Both sides have actually thrown out the "issues" and are now just attacking each other. Of course, this has become pretty typical during elections.

Though I don't usually agree with him, I think Greg B. said it best - "this isn't an election, it is a hostage situation".

.. they are actually putting emphasis on Economy.. but you know how media are.. they only care about controversy.. As for as Iraq... dumb ass Kerry was too busy looking at polls when he backed Bush for Iraq.. now .. if he talks about Iraq. .. he makes himself look like an opportunistic flip flopper...
