I haven't tried many for dedicated servers, but National-Net and Swiftwill are both top-notch when it comes to techical support - and quick too. :)

One thing you need to watch for is the bottom feeder reseller of a reseller of a reseller.

Other than that, do a search on this board for a good recommendation.

Actually, no.

It's very easy to get 50 people posting and recommending your company. All someone would need to do is contact all their clients, friends, etc.

One thing you need to remember is not everyone posts at GFY. And of the people who do post here, many don't participate in recommendation threads.

No matter who you decide on, you really do need to do your research. Get to know the people a little bit, test out their tech support, talk to other existing clients. Take the extra time and investigate what you're getting into, it will save a lot of headaches later on.

Findout who the top 25 in sextracker host with, and go with that.

Do you mean the most used by gfy users, the largest, or the best quality.

You would depend who bought more sigs, there is no way to know which are best unless you try them all. And you could just have bad timing with the best one and fucked everything up.

I made the switch to techiemedia.net awhile ago and have not regretted it one bit. They have gone above and beyond what is required of any hosting company in my eyes.

I wouldn't mix up politics and quality, they are two differant ways to measure something.
