Businessman's Hurricane-Fighting Plan Described As Unrealistic (WTF CRAZY SHIT)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Weather experts say it's a plan that will never work.
But that may not stop a Florida businessman from trying to reduce the strength of Hurricane Ivan.
Peter Cordani has been working on his hurricane-fighting plan for years. He's trying to lease a Boeing 747 tanker plane -- and then fly it to the edge of the hurricane, to dump thousands of pounds of an absorbent material into the storm. His company makes the material.
Cordani figures he could knock Ivan down a notch or two on the hurricane scale.
A professor at the International Hurricane Center at Florida International University has said ideas like Cordani's aren't realistic -- either because they'd be way too expensive, or because they're based on a lack of understanding of
