Depends on the registra a bit on how fast it happens, but looks like the site can be brought down with that info alone. They'll be back of course. That will cause them some work though. :thumbsup :thumbsup

Did you sign up and go inside the sites to see if he's using your content? A nice dated screenshot would seal it.

It seems that gfy did some good here.

The guy contacted me. He says there is a mistake on this and it will taken care monday.

All i can say is we will see monday ..If it is a mistake and things are recitfied i will post that here monday so stay tuned.

Okay, lets get a few things straightened out. The first that I ever heard of any problem was this morning, when a good friend of mine from GFY was kind enough to let me know something was up on the boards about me. Let me be clear on this... Roscoe's content is *NOT* being used in any way on any of my sites. I have not done anything improper... this entire situation is the result of miscommunication. As you will see by Roscoe98 himself on Monday, and as you can already see by his update which he posted today..... at no time has GetBuxxx, or any of my sites misused or used any content that we have not purchased. I am new to the business however I work with some of the most successfull and experienced people who have been in the biz for more than 10 years. No way, would we ever do anything that has been accused of GetBuxxx. So here is the lesson of the day for everyone out there... DO NOT USE THE BOARD UNTIL YOU ARE 100% SURE OF THE SITUATION! I will post again on Monday as will Roscoe98 with the end result. Myself, and Roscoe98 since the issue has been brought to my attention have been in communication, and have been able to take the steps necessary to fix this miscommunication.

Thought I'd pop in and post here about GetBuxxx to give everyone a little more insight on their character.

I know these guys personally and we have been doing business for some time now. I have been around for 5 years and I can say with certainty that they're honest and hardworking, just exactly the kind of people that every likes to do business with.

To suggest that this scenario is anything more than an accident is rediculous. These guys are building a new program and playing by the rules, obsessing over 2257, their reputation and everything else that is crucial to becoming a success in our industry.

I've bought content from PixMasters, heck, I think probably everybody has. The sets are large and always a good value, I'm sure that is why Corey went shopping there. Evidently what happened was there were two similar charges on their credit card and they charged back the wrong one by mistake. Knowing them as I do, a simple phone call or email to them would have had the situation resolved. The fact that there is a thread here says to me that no such attempt was made to do so.

GFY is a great place to call people out as a last result. There was obviously some miscommunication here which can happen to the best of us. What I do know is that there was no intent to not properly pay for and ultimately use this content. So, let's lay off trying to cause them trouble because in this instance they made an error but not the kind that requires anything more than a small effort to rectify.

You never even tried to contact him to reslove the problem (which ended up being just an error on paper) in private.

Instead, you come to GFY and try to discredit one of the FEW great & honest guys in this biz that i have EVER known and/or met!!!!!

Ok lets get something straight here...I am seeing posts that we possibly made no attempts to resolve this before we posted..

Well let me give you some facts about this.

1) First off the guy who made the purchase posed as coreybuxxx on icq and it wasn't even him it was his partner!

2) we tried SEVERAL times to reply to their questions on ICQ and even posted messages to this person to contact us.
NONE of our requests were answered!

3) On the original order The phone number given us was disconnected! ( no help There)

4) The email address given had no relation to Getbuxxx(no help there either)

5) No info was in any records on any boards as to who or where
coreybuxxx could be contacted!

6) Once we found GETBUXXX all Domain registry info was/is FAKE..
(no help there either)

7) After checking our bank AND our merchant account people for possible double charges NONE WAS FOUND !!

8) Not getting responces to our requests, no phone number, no reply to our icq requests, no reply to our board posting, finding out that the person on ICQ was not aho they said they were but a partner.

You tell me if this sounds like things were on the up and up!!!!

So don't say we didn't try and contact these people because we did. THEY decided to give us info that was not accurate and made it more than difficult to find out who they were!

We do not post just to ruin somebody at a whim...we made every attempt to contact these people.

Wanted to put this here..


I wanted to come back and make another post about a post i made earlier this week.

It had to do with GETBUXXX and a chargeback done on a content purchase from our company.

We did get ahold of the owners and after talking we found out that there was some kind of bank error.

Things have been resovled (we have been paid) and Corey from Getbuxxx went so far as to have his bank write a lettor to our Credit card people saying that this was an error and to remove the black mark a chargeback can cause.

I must say after having been in this biz for over 8 years now it was more than refreshing to have one of these turn out so well.
I think it was far beyound what we could expect for corey to have his bank admit they were wrong and correct it with our merchant bank.

Way to go corey.
