"Free pass" at AVS is bullshit!
Hi everybody,
I am starting my own AVS company. I overlooked some other AVS companies, and they all are offering "free pass" or other shit. But actually no free password for the customer is provided. Is it not cheating? cant we actually write, that you will recieve free access to other sites with one sign up, or that we are offering only one-day free access and later visitor will be charged as normal? And what about participating sites? If they are using my company's content, so actually visitor recieves access to the same content, just the "frames", "pack" are different. What do you think? Is it a point of this? --------------- Regards, credas |

Can you repeat that please?

If you have to ask these questions, you're probably not ready to start your own AVS. I understand it's quite an undertaking. :2 cents:

From what I have seen when you buy a pass from an avs you get into 95% of their sites, the other 5% are companies that went to having their own password protection/charging and did not remove themselves from the AVS listing or the AVS is not aware/does not care. The other thing it sounds like you are talking about is tricky wording in terms of use as to when a free trial begins and when it ends, lots of people do not like it but they still send traffic and recieve checks from surfers who get caught in it. If you think you can produce an AVS that is not as "shady" then all the power in the world to you man, good luck. |
thanks, some of you helped me a lot!

I've a feeling this guys going to find out very quickly that the free AVS/AEN/whatever sites have to do this for a very good reason. |
