My daughter dropped a shot glass into the garbage disposal
 

I didn't know this and turned it on. Thinking it was a spoon or some shit I reached in there to get it out...

Fill in the blanks... or send them to me so I can fill in my fucking hand...

Oh shit man. That sucks ass. I always have this fear that when I have my hand down in there, some odd freak of nature is gonna send some power surge through the wiring to the disposal and give my hand the old one two. Sorry to hear that dude.

i would never, ever put my hand in the disposal, under any circumstances.

Dude, it isn't a gas powered motor... The glass already in the disposal cut my hand not the blades in the disposal.

But just before I did it, my daughter went to put her hand in it. I turned off the kitchen light and yelled, "whiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrr" and she and my other kids just about peed their pants so I got a bit of fun before I got sliced and diced...

well disconnect it take it outside hose it out or get your plumber too. It will be fucked and need replacing as it will burn out if you ont clean it out.

Damn that must have hurt. Just make sure to keep the cuts clean the last thing you need is an infection.

That happened to me once, except it was a plastic shot glass and when we turned the disposal on, shards of plastic sprayed out. Not fun. :(

OMG, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way! :) I swear it's some kind of garbage disposal phobia. :(

Just put some rubbing alchol on it and you will be fine... But seriously just run the water for a long time and it will run the glass out of there... If there is still a little left go buy a toilet brush and use it to clean it as you continue to run water over it...

Yeah I once stabbed myself with a knife and it went about 1 1/2 inches in. I was prepairing a bell pepper for a BBQ. In Polish tradition I threw some paroxide on it, neosporon and some butterfly bandaids, gause and a roll of tape, then finished the shish kabobs, drank heavely and enjoyed the party. The next morning the doctor at the hostpital said, "Wow, awesome job. Why did you come here? You seem to have fixed it just fine on your own." Didn't have insurance. It was a $500 lesson in home medicine.
