.htaccess to allow hotlinking from only select domains

Does anybody know how to get this set up:
I want to be adult to hotlink pictures from certain select domains while preventing all other domains from hotlinking me. And I'm not sure how to do this...
Can someone offer some .htaccess help? I've search the boards but can't find a post relatd to this (though I think there was one once...)

Here's what my .htaccess currently looks like that doesn't allow ANY domain besides the one it's on to hotlink:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://www.beufords.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://beufords.com [NC]
RewriteRule \.jpg$ / [F,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://www.beufords.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://beufords.com [NC]
RewriteRule \.gif$ / [F,L]

Thanks.

Since this is such a point of never being able to find good help on specifics for hta, maybe we should petition Lens to make a read only forum on this subj and tuck copies of the good hta help posts there so they never cycle off the bbs.

Then if you have questions still the handles of the hta brains will be there for us to contact on our own in ICQ etc.

I agree 100%. Nothing irratates me more than when I post an .htaccess question to get a repsonse telling me to go to apache's website. If I understood what:

[R,L$./.\]

meant - I wouldn't have posted the question in the first place. There needs to be better examples. It is easy to find simple ones, but if then examples are almost impossible to find. I need examples, not syntax. That is all that seems to be out there.
