NFL Football packages? Alternative to DirectTV?
 

DirectTV are cocksuckers!

I bought their full package a while ago so I can get the NFL package. Then I switched to Digital Cable last year. Before I switched to digital, they told me I didn't need to get DirectTV's full service since I already had the equipment, all I'd have to do is but the football package. This way I can keep digital, which I like way more, and still get my football.

Well, they changed their minds and now you HAVE to get the full service to DirectTV and then you can pay for the football package.

Is there a way to view football games on the Net? I know you can buy the audio feed, but is there a video feed yet? Does DirectTV have the lock on all forms of video transmission?

Too early for that, my games start at 10:00 am. On Sunday, I'm just waking up.

Any other options in the privacy of your own home?

I did the sports bar thing years ago, and it sucks to sit there all those hours just to watch a game by myself eating food I'm not hungry enough to eat.

I'm afraid the answer is, there is no option.

I refuse to let DirectTV win this battle and switch me back completely. All this just to watch my Cleveland Browns.
