Is it normal at just over 8 monthsfor my GF to get pains in her vagina and pubic bone regions? It shouldn't be stretching yet should it?

that's laughable. She hasen't seen her doc in a whole year. We deal with these nurses and docs at the birthing clinic. Different one each time, different advice each time too haha.

The doctor can tell you it's normal, but with your first pregnancy, what you want is other women's experiences.

jennym 09-10-2004 04:00 PM

Yep, normal.

Congrats on the baby by the way:thumbsup

Vanilla DeVille 09-10-2004 04:04 PM

Yes, it's normal... however, it's not being stretched out yet. It's the weight of the baby on the organs.... as well as her hormones making ready for the big day. :)

Yep there will be lots of pain and discomfort... The back especially can be painful as well... The only pain you should worry about is if she has contractions, and she will know the differece, or if she has a sudden gush of fluid.

See, people always told me this. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I would have a pain, and ask my sister "do you think this is it?"

She would say "If you have to ask, then no" :feels-hot Oh God, that would piss me off. I won't fucking know! This is my first one!!

Now, I tell pregnant women...."you will know".:1orglaugh
