one thing I am sick of though is that Bush is using 9/11 to wint the election...i heard three speaches by him in the past week on the campaign trail, and not ONE speach went on to tell us what he plans to do with our country i the next four years, he just keep talking about what has happened and how he handled it....that is total bullshit

An attack as big as 9/11 can happen even tommorow again. No, I am not saying it will happen. I just mean that the CIA / FBI etc cannot be 100% sure, there're no Al Qaeda members in the US. And if there are, there're not playing baseball.
And in the muslem world money is never a problem. So as of today another attack may happen in the near future and noone can tell exactly how big is the danger currently.

Who said Al Quaeda was destroyed? You can't destroy Al Quaeda. It's like AIDS. The only way to fight it is to slowly destroy and hinder the cells before it totally infects and kills the body.

It's interesting to compare Iraq before and after Bush took power there.

There's lots of differences. For example, Christian churches only started blowing up after Bush took power in Iraq.

So there's the question. If you think that Iraq is worse off now under Bush than then under Saddam, you have to conclude that Bush is such a horrible president that even Saddam would do better.

While a soldier knows they may have to sacrifice their life for their country, they expect people to make rational choices in sending them into harms way. To kill or die for an unjust and irrational cause is a waste of life and valor.

What exactly has Bush done besides create a color strip to scare everyone and the Patriot act to strip some of our rights to privacy away?
