I before E, except after C...
thats the lil rule thing right? well then what about the word "their?" thats E before I but not after a C right? or am i spelling it wrong lol

In most cases, that rule applies.
Their is an exception. The English language is full of exceptions, it is one of the most difficult languages to learn. Makes you hold higher respect for all the foriegners that learn it to live. |
I just use that rule when I am not sure but I think it only applies about 80% of the time.
