What is your favorite Tanantino flick?

Mine is Four Rooms. Has Bruce Willis, Madonna, Antonio Banderas...

Anyone else a Q fan?

DarkJedi 09-10-2004 11:04 AM

he's one ugly mofo.

Lee 09-10-2004 11:04 AM

Totally predictable but I still love Pulp Fiction.

Zerof8 09-10-2004 11:04 AM

I love QT movies, but I didnt like four rooms except for his portion. My favorite is probably Reservoir Dogs, my nick was Mr. Pink for a while until too many people thought that meant I was gay.
Pink is the color of pussy!

Corleone 09-10-2004 11:04 AM

Pulp Fiction is one of the best movies ever :thumbsup

Yeah I like that one too. I also like Kill Bill you need to be into those kind of movies though.

Vinnie Barbarino 09-10-2004 11:07 AM

Goodfellas.

jono 09-10-2004 11:08 AM

I thought the second Kill Bill sucked

I like Dusk Til Dawn but I don't think that is his

Personally I thought Kill Bill 2 was better than Kill Bill 1, both excellent movies however.

Spunky 09-10-2004 11:09 AM

Good fellas also

SykkBoy 09-10-2004 11:14 AM

for writing - Natural Born Killers
for directing - Reservoir Dogs

Buddy 09-10-2004 11:15 AM

Um, Goodfellas is Scorsese, not Q.

Im worried, it looks like his next big release is gonna be some sort of movie like the last samuria... interesting...

MikeVega 09-10-2004 11:15 AM

I'd say Reservoir Dogs just because it was so well written...75% of the movie takes place in a warehouse and it doesn't even matter......http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/S...3/blondani.gif

Doctor Dre 09-10-2004 11:15 AM

Pulp Fiction

ScottMN 09-10-2004 11:16 AM

another vote for pulp
:thumbsup

aaron 09-10-2004 11:16 AM

anyone like true romance?

shann 09-10-2004 11:17 AM

Reservoir Dogs by far.

I wasn't overly impressed with Kill Bill. Sure I'm all glad all the actressed worked out and trained 8 hours a day.... but it seemed like an over hyped B movie IMO.

Mr-No 09-10-2004 11:17 AM

Hmm... Maybe I'm stupid one, but please tell me what QT has with Goodfellas? That movie is directed by Martin Scorsese...

theS2O 09-10-2004 11:18 AM

pulp fiction :thumbsup

Buddy 09-10-2004 11:18 AM

And Q. only directed the last of the 4 segments in four rooms. the one he was in.

Four Rooms directing credits:

Allison Anders (segment "The Missing Ingredient")
Alexandre Rockwell (segment "The Wrong Man")
Robert Rodriguez (segment "The Misbehavers")
Quentin Tarantino (segment "The Man from Hollywood")

If you're talking about the Asian-mande "Hero," QT is just putting up the money for US distribution. He had nothing to do with making it - but he of course stole many of the concepts for "Kill Bill" as it originally came out a few years back.

QT puts out some entertaining stuff, but he definitely rides the grey area when it comes to pilfering ideas.

Mr-No 09-10-2004 11:20 AM

And now answer on question...
Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction both great movies... After that, shit... :2 cents:

seeric 09-10-2004 11:20 AM

even though its not his movie, and he just got USA distro rights, HERO was freakin insane. and pulp is definitely on of my favs too

Misbehavors is the best. Then Man from Hollywood.

The way the story went on Kill Bill 2 was better, but Kill Bill 1 had more action ect. I like them both.

NBK was great too. I used to have all his movies before my house burned down. I got the box and NBK for my BD and I really must buy the other ones again soon too!

Another great movie (that's not his) is Full Metal Jacket.

warlock5 09-10-2004 11:30 AM

And his segment was also an old Hitchcock thing

My self am a fan of Res Dogs.

Why do I have to be Mr Pink?

jaYMan 09-10-2004 01:29 PM

When at a hotel I always check in the matress for a dead whore.

;)

videoxpix 09-10-2004 01:39 PM

Just watched KILL BILL 2 last night & thought that it was an awesome film! Eye loved the crushed eyeball scene.....more gruesome than the ear scene in ResDogs....totally made me squirm. YUK.

One thing I like about his movies is how he carries characters, stories & even actors from one film to another.

By the way, go get the gimp & let me tell you about this watch that I had jammed up my ass back in Nam!

Ok, I haven't seen True Romance, and I can't remember seeing R of dogs, so guess I need to by the looks of this thread ;)

Thanks!

Aly-Python 09-10-2004 03:48 PM

Torn between
Pulp Fiction,
and
Kill Bill 1 (NOT 2)

:thumbsup

jennym 09-10-2004 04:08 PM

If I HAVE to pick just one, then it's Pulp Fiction, but they are all awesome.

NakedBo - Yes, Full Metal Jacket is also one of the best films ever.
