CONTEST - Pick A Prize... win an I-Pod
 

Hey guys... We've tested the heck out of our www.dukedollars.com program and now that it's all running nicely, we want to do the grand opening for October 1st.

We want to do a good contest for the month of October where everyone who sends 100 sign-ups in that month gets a prize/bonus from us but we haven't been able to decide what to make that be.

After much debate we thought the best way to do this would be to ask people what it is that they'd want. So here I am laying out the question and giving something away for a good answer.

If you have a good idea for what a great bonus would be (in the area of $1000 value), please post it here. Whichever person posts the coolest idea that we end up using is going to win a 40 Gig I-Pod for being such a genius. We'll select the idea on 9/16 and announce the winner of the I-Pod here on that date.

I can't wait to see what you guys think up... =]

$100 signups in October and you will give them $1000 prize? How about cash, paid listings on sites they would like promoting your program of course. Nice Sony Wega TV or some surround sound. Bestbuy cetificates, nice bottle of alcohol if they are over 21.

let them pick software/hardware for that amount or one of those minibikes I saw somewhere on a board that they are about a 1000$. Maybe give them some choises, not everybody likes the same things. I would go for something I could use but I'm a girl. I don't think guys would dig 1000$ woth lingerie from Victoria's secrets :winkwink:

I like Sosa's idea too. With giving them payed spots on other sites you will both make more money!

let the webmaster choose from a list of content packages that are most suiting to his preferences.

offering an electronic device or some other tangible product might not be your best bet, cause some people might already have the product, and lessen the incentive to try your program.

but with a selection of content over different niches, you can't go wrong! :winkwink:

Give away a good Vegas package and i might give it a go.

Everyone would want something different I suppose, so it might be hard to come up with one univeral thing.

Here are some ideas:

Free trip to vegas convention or avn awards.

Letting the webmaster star in his own facial abuse scene at the next vegas convention. Or maybe just let him hang around the set for a scene.

If the webmaster runs a TGP/MGP, maye some custom shot content plugs, like a 20 sec promo plug like with what jason from VVV did with christing young. Have the girl wear a shirt with the webmasters site or something.

I'm sorry to hear that you have such bad luck with other programs. I mean i do 3-6 off my shitty 10k mgp a day on facial abuse. 100 joins is pretty easy. Give it a shot man... What do u have to loose.

Yeah and 100 a month in October is only 3.2 per day. Where we'll find a .2 person to join every day I dunno but I'm sure there are 31 really small people out there. =]

I keep thinking the paid listings or traffic would be great. Make money for the affiliate as well as you the sponsor. Go through CyberCat or GTS etc for paid listings or let the affiliate pick all together.

If the guy is getting 100 signups a month, maybe get him a free 100mpbs server to promote you guys with.

It's a few a day. I don't think that's too crazy. We've got people on the beta who do that as I had mentioned. I'm sure the real small guys can't yet but there wouldn't be much of a contestbonus for a small number either. It's certainly a point of debate though. Where the median is...

Some of the best promo ideas ive seen aree always gift certificates..... Bestbuy Circuit City, Amazon , etc., That way the person doing the promoting has an extra incentive to promote you. They arent limited in their reward, thereby attracting even more people to send you signups.
