The Hun's confirmation email ???
 

Hey I haven't received it last 3 times when I submitted my galleries!!!! Anybody can explain this ???
Gallery pass their test but there's no email..... and I'm NOT using yahoo or any other email of that type????

Ever try using another email addy? That may be your problem as some isps don't allow you to get mail from forms.

I use Yahoo. Works for me...

It can take about 3-4 week to recieve smth. from HUN, be patient

Wad, he's not talking about THAT email... he's talking about the "click here to confirm your submission" email.

If you don't get the confirmation e-mail within 15 minutes or so you might want to try again later. Or you might want to check with your host if they didn't include me in some spam filter, that sometimes happens as well. Just try another addy to see if that works. Make sure you put something in the comment if you're submitting with more than one e-mail address though...

A few hours ago, I was rejected from The Yellow Pages for the first time ever. He sent me a declination email...

The courtesy of letting someone know whether they've been accepted or rejected is very nice, even if it is an auto-generated email. I'm not a fan of "going in blind".

Most the time he even tells you what's wrong w/ your gallery so you can fix it & resubmit. I like that!

I haven't gotten those rejection emails in a while, although I did get one the first time. I guess all my other galleries after that suck the same way. I can deal with that, so I've changed them around a bit.

I have sent personal emails that have never gotten answered though, and that kinda ticks me a little.

The Hun: I'd like to open a dialogue with you on the subject, preferably by email. Let me know and I'll shoot it off to you.

The reason rejection e-mails haven't been sent out that much lately is that I'm checking submissions sent in almost a month ago... It's kinda harsh declining a gallery after a month. It also misses the point. Telling people what's wrong will put them in the position to change things. Or put them in the position to say fuck you Hun and leave. It's up to the submitter of course. But anyway, if you tell someone what's wrong after a month and he's submitting once every week there's 4 submissions pending with pretty much the same problem... I'm catching up slowly though and I promise to send everybody decline e-mails soon again... err... well, you know what I mean ;-)

I can see why The Hun got to be number one - good customer service. I haven't been around that long, but I know for instance that if someone writes me and tells me what is wrong with my galleries, I am going to try them again. People with bad additudes might say "fuck you hun" (and apparently that is a common sentiment among some), but those people aren't going to get very far anyway.

Some of these places I think don't even look at mine. I have no problem getting listed with Thumbzilla, Richards Realm, Snakes World, PK, and the like - why do these other TGPs reject me? Do they even look at my gallery?

I must say that I do not know what it is like to run a TGP - but I always hear people complain how hard it is, but if places like Persian Kitty, Thumbzilla, RichardsRealm, and the like can take care of things quickly - I don't really feel that sorry for everyone else.

It seems the less the TGP/Link List complains the better it is.
