Best things to do to optimize PC performance, help.

Ever since SP2 install, my PC is crawling. Not so much once the program is open, but opening any program is taking forever. It used to be so fast.

I dont want to uninstall now because they might have a pathc to fix this. What can I do now to get a better response from my PC?
