When looking for a new sponsor...
 

Do you take into account the quality of the content?

Would you be more inclined to promote a sponsor that has 100% exclusive content and is revshare based or a sponsor who has the same content that's seen all over the place but pays persignup?


Just pondering some thoughts tonight...

Mainly just go for what you think will convert the best I suppose.... Meaning exclusive would do better... I'm not sure about revshare though sometimes its great, sometimes not.

I want someone who pays on time, has hot fresh content, multiple payment tiers and great support if I have any questions. Also, conversions can flutuate per webmaster, if you know how to sell the traffic you can convert anything. Quality counts.

I've found that "exclusive" content isn't all that important for the initial sale in the long run. Yes, a new site that has new content will sell at a much better conversion, but after a few months it all settles down. I look for sponsors that actually seem to understand the niche they're trying to sell and has a great tour.

Having said that. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter. The surfer wants variety. Some buy the exclusive sites and some buy the cookie cutter sites. Shove every option in their face to try and make some money.

Case in point, I recently added some "OLD" sites (been around for a couple years) into the rotation and made some sales that I wouldn't have otherwise. In fact, now that everyone has jumped on the adult.com reality sites, my 10dollar and adultplatinum sales are slowly going up.. :thumbsup

quality content for sure. If like the "high quality" somple design the most. I can pre-sell very easily with good content and a shitty design. Doesn't work the other way around for me!
