Recommendations for a digital camera?

Looking for a good digital camera in the $300-$400. Any recommendations?

edit: DIGITAL - DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED THERE

sickkittens 09-09-2004 03:39 PM

bump - I know some of you want to brag about your digital cams

masterE 09-09-2004 03:48 PM

Nikon Coolpix 4300, 4.0 Megapixel, takes amazing pictures, and you can pick one up in the $250 - $350 range.

The only drawback is there is no sound recording if you do movies. The pictures it takes are print quality (the reason I bought this model), I use a lot of my photos in my magazine, you can't go wrong with this model. :thumbsup

My parents had that camera and it was awful... very breakable and the zoom sucked.

This one is a steal:
