Remote thumbs and Epic
1st off let me state that I am a fan and user of Remote thumbs on a few sites. Nothing big but still there.
I am also a promoter of Epic Cash sites and like some of their products and convertions. I am not sure what this whole battle stems from but it bothers me as a user that I cannot promote as deverse array of programs due to it. It is also troublesome that if I would like to have a 2% cut in my % for remote thumbs I am being asked to burn a possible bridge with epic. I do not think that is fair as a common user. I will not stop using remote thumbs or epic but I do think business for the others using your products needs to be considered prior to engaging in these wars. Just my :2 cents: |

Just a few days before RemoteThumbs got rid of Epic I did gallery checks and all the Epic links ended up at the galleries with no ref id anyway.
It was a great move on RemoteThumbs part. |

Trey doesn't give two shits about you. IMHO 90% of all programs dislike their affiliates. They need you and you need them. It's that simple. Do you think a program owner likes splitting his revenue with people that openly bash their programs? Fuck no. Affiliates are a fuckin' pain in the ass. Trust me on this, I know first hand. Everyone wants something special. They only do 1 or 2 signups a week (if that) and they want the royal fuckin' treatment. The affiliates that bother you the least for stupid shit are the big guys doing 10 or more signups a day. It's all the little guys eating away at your fuckin' time all day that cause the most problems. "My link doesn't work.", "I just made a sale 2 seconds ago and it's not showing up.", "Your galleries suck!", "You guys rock!", "You guys suck!", "Your conversions suck.", "Can I get free shit from you guys?", "can you check my account...?" Trust me affiliates are a pain in the ass. Get any program owner drunk enough at a convention and ask him. (with the exception of LightSpeed, and SoulCash, they never cracked under the pressure of my questions about affiliates and in fact said quite the opposite) So do you think Trey cares if you burn that bridge? Fuck no. More money for him in the longrun if he plays his cards right. He probably has a whole crew of 3rd world submitters running galleries for him day and night at a tiny % of what he splits with you. Some programs just buy signups. And why not? It saves them the hassle of dealing with affiliates and it's more profitable. Do you really think Trey sits on here and keeps a list of people that call him an asshole or say he's a liar? Fuck no. He doesn't care. His only goal is to weed out the weak affiliates. People that earn with him don't listen to his board bullshit because they know that he's just weeding people out. Piss off the trouble makers and keep them out of the program, at the same time build contraversy and get your name out there. For those that can see thru it and decide to join and can keep their fuckin' mouths shut as they earn, then so be it. Is it smart business? Fuck no. It's a hard way of doing a simple job. But so what. Do I think he's a liar. Yes. I think he lies. I think he says and does anything he can to keep his name here. Because every once in a while he snags a guy that can see past all this shit and earn with him. |

RedShoe, don't speak for Trey.
I know you dislike him after the SoulCash drama, but between me and you and everyone else, Epic Cash is a solid program. It will always be a solid program, no matter how Trey acts. RevSand, what do you mean by this quote: "It is also troublesome that if I would like to have a 2% cut in my % for remote thumbs I am being asked to burn a possible bridge with epic." Is Remote Thumbs offering to lower your skim rate in return for trashing Epic Cash or for you to stop promoting us? Or am I misunderstanding? I'd just like to clarify that the only way you can burn a bridge with Epic Cash is by straight out scamming us or fucking us over. |
Redshoe.. I know you are right about most of what you said about affliates and good points that I totally understand.. I just dont think its a good idea to burn bridges in general.. Just bad biz practice and ya never know who else it might effect.
psyko514.. I was referring to http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...adid=354125&s= As I stated both are good programs and business should be left as business and leave the drama out of it. I have a low post count but I know this is how GFY works since I lurk a hell of alot more then I ever post. |

The dirty old man is comming for you :Graucho Seriously though :BangBang: You fuckers will fail horribly sooner or later, if you continue to mix personal issues with buisness. You're only hurting yourself, not us. There will allways be equal adult products out there to promote, if not very similar to what you are offering. :2 cents: |
