well, considering al qaeda wants to try and influence the elections... tie that in with 'terror' and another attack... i would place my money on something happening on halloween.

Yeah I still remember I was a senior in highschool. One of my friends was like did you hear?

Im like bullshit stop fucking with me. Then we got into class and the teacher was watching the coverage.

my girlfriend at the time told me while i was sleeping and i thought she was crazy, until i woke up later.

I had just woken up and gone to voltars webmaster board to see who was saying what, and Cleo had just posted about a plane hitting a building on tv.
I thought she was nuts, then refreshed the board and turned on the tv to see the second plane hit. I'll say here what I said then:

MOTHER FUCKERS!

i remember i was driving to class and ppl were driving like maniacs on the road, then i heard on the radio that a plane has hit the twin towers and that it wasnt a joke..

so i turned around and went home..


then the next day in class they gave me shit and made me fail an assignment because i wasnt there that day... what a bunch of assholes.

I think it's more likely increased violence against US interests abroad.

Check out Fox News in about 10 minutes (1PM ET). They are going to have Oliver North on there with his report on why we are safer now than ever.

One program I caught briefly about 9/11 was one with the air traffic controllers. I think it was Investigative Reports but I'm not sure.

What those guys went through on that day was very disturbing.

Oh, and the Firefighter documentary "9/11" was very good too.

Yup, i was at my old work.

It's crazy, something so many miles from here had such an impact on everyone.

We got away from work a bit early if i remember correctly that day.

i was sleeping when it happened. What a shitty thing to wake up to, it seemed more unreal. Hearin messages on my machine 'america is under attack'.. and' the twin towers are GONE'....

i was then glued to the tv for the next two hours.... somehow fell asleep and was woken up by a fighter jet flying low (yonkers, ny).... i thought another plane was coming, for my apartment.

any and everytime i hear a plane i always think of 911.

i was stuck to the t.v. for four hours watching that one and the other special on 9-11. there was a lot of information released on there that i had never been exposed to. i recommend people catch the replays this weekend. discovery always runs stuff like that about 3 times the week it comes out.

I was on the LIE listening to Howard Stern and then it happened at first I thought it was a joke then switched to AM stations and was like shit.

I was eating breakfast and watching MSNBC (cause I always have tv on MSNBC unless I am watching something) and I saw it happen live. I could not believe it.

I honestly do not remember how long it took me to register what was happening, but I remember quickly flipping to Sports Center to see the report on the Monday night game between NY and Denver (Denver kicked their ass) but the same report was on ESPN, and I think thats when it hit me that it was serious.

I pretty much spent the entire day glued to the tv so I could keep up with everything and because work was cancelled.

i got up and the first thing i do every morning is check my mail. back then, i also had aol and decided to check the news.

i see images of the towers burning and something that said plane but i was still trying to wake up so i thought it was a sequal to something like armageddon. i know that sounds ridiculous but i just was not able to put two and two together until i really read it.

3 mins later, i was watching cnn and i still couldn't fully comprehend what was happening....it was just too surreal.

3 years uh?

And Osama Bin Laden is still missing...

Yea I watched it ......... its pretty sick to think that the "president" had no way of communicating from Air Force One right after the attacks..... The U.S. was caught by SERIOUS surprise....... and the administration did everything it was capable of to let it happen too............ oh and have we caught the man responsible for the whole thing.....NO...

On 9/11/01 I awoke to CNN on the TV (fell asleep watching it) and they were reporting the 1st plane hitting. When I switched channels and saw it was live on the networks I called my aunt (who only has basic cable and loves for me to alert her to news). We watched and talked for a few minutes when an explosion that from the view we were watching could have come from either tower. I told her "something happened let me let you go so we can watch" and of course it turned out to be the 2nd plane live coast to coast.:(
