is that 1.54MBPS UPSTREAM and 1.54MBPS DOWNSTREAM ?
Just curious because I have 8MBPS downstream 1MBPS upstream myself for 65 euro Andre |

I go over 50 GB downloaded per month (which is around 1/6th what a T1 can transfer in a month) and they send me nasty letters. |

In Japan your own fully dedicated 100Mbit home line for ~100$ in Korea you can get even faster lines as far as I know.
T1 is 1.54MBps not Mbit. T1 = ~10Mbit multiplexed up to 44.5Mbit (both down and up). I've got 2Mbit up/down here and I'm happy with it.If you don't want to run servers from your own home I can't see a real need for anything faster. |

that has got to be contended right ? I mean I have 3mbps down 256kbps(sad) for £50 / month on cable but its not guaranteed 1.5mbps bandwidth like a T1 |

Its a great idea. If any webmasters are interested in this in Miami we can do the same thing including loops. T1, T3, DS3 etc. Match the pricing and deliver better than your local cable company...
