Promoting a sponsor that doesn't give you credit on PAYPAL signups... THE LOSS...

So what do you think the % of loss is when you promote a sponsor that offers paypal but doesnt give you credit on the signups. We used to have paypal on our sites (with credit givin) and it was like 15-20% of entire sales...

Whats ur experiences.

Man, that sucks. Paypal is so damn easy and convenient.

PayPal has a big piece of the pie so I'm guessing it would suck big time... why are you asking?

Why would someone not give credit on paypal orders? It is easy enough to code in.

Same reason sponsors don't give you credit on collected emails, upsells inside, upsells outside, popups, cross sales, etc. etc. etc.

Yet everyone still comes here yelling that sponsors can't pay $XX.XX per signup without shaving or they'd go broke!

True, it is the webmasters fault really - they demand X dollars per signup yet they can't put two and two together. If you find a good enough revshare program it is a much better bet I think (especially with the release of more and more exclusive sites). Mensniche is good in that regard I think, but they are in a unique market that is quite different to the typical paysite field so I guess it makes it easier.

I use paypal on some of my mainstream sites.

but u have to question the sense of affiliates, we used to tell them we give them credit on paypal but they didnt really care... same with sponsors out there that put phone numbers on the site and do not give affiliates credit..

MensNiche is far from perfect at the moment in terms of the highest quality we set ourselves but we already out convert our competitors.. in a few weeks we will have every payment option under the sun and giving affiliates credit, my question is, by doing this am i throwing away just potential profit for myself because AFFILIATES do not recognise how much better we would be over our competitors?

Same goes for those that show 2nd page clicks as ratios etc...

I dont have any cross-sales and give you credit on collected emails(check my sig for more info) and also all pop-ups.
