3 years anniversary this saturday, how's the war on terror developing, have we achived anything or are things getting even worse?

we all have learned so much in the past 3 years. I can't believe how naive and shelted we lived from the rest of the world

We achieved on getting over 1,000 + of our soldiers killed, things will be defiantly be getting worse in the near future.

And we have more enemys now then we ever did before.

is this thing going to turn into a "holiday" if so why would they call it one?

We have toppled the Taliban government and that is a good thing.

We have killed or captured two thirds of the known top al Qeada leaders...interrupted their financing...and communications and that is a good thing.

We have killed tens of thousands of our enemies and potential enemies and that is a good thing.

We are well on our way to establishing a Democratic Republic in Iraq (which is part of an attempt to change the face of the middle east). We are killing foreign fighters as well as those that would attempt to prevent a Democratic Republic being established in Iraq...by the numbers...and free elections are going to be held in January...if all remains on schedule (which it may or may not). And that is a good thing.

Back then, Muslim fundamentalists hated the US because its unconditional support for Israel and the constant imperialist meddling in internal affairs of foreign nations.

Fast forward to 2004. The US still supports Israel and its apartheid regime, they still meddle in internal affairs of foreign nations, they have increased the number of military bases on foreign soil, invaded two nations, murdered thousands of innocent civilians and created a climate of global hatred for their country.

The next time the US is hit by a military/terrorist attack, they'll once again whine, "Why us? What have we done to deserve this?"
