What exactly is open srs?
 

I have several domains at directnic and one says its registered through open srs. Is that good or bad?

Tucows? I never bought something there? I regged that name through directnic years ago.

This domain must have been registered awhile ago. DirectNIC has not used openSRS for years. Once we got ICANN approval we have operated on our own.
