Is there an objective criteria? How many sets or parners she should have before? Does she needs effective appearence? Is offline movies dominate here?

When I think of "pornstar" I think of someone who's done enough actual porn movies that people know who he/she is by name.
I don't think of people who do web stuff as pornstars.
I've had people call me a pornstar before....I'm like...uhhhh no. I'm just have an adult site.

They are porn stars when they get an attitude. Then in 2 or 3 years they get boob jobs and other surgery. That is when they are old porn stars. Then they develop a raspy voice. That is when they are ready for retirement.

The term "porn star" is kinda generic and overly used. Thats why there are "levels" such as amateur, semi-pro and professional. Just like in sports....

- she has to work really hard
- she has to work in as much as possible niches
- some time is necessary to get her pics/videos on a lot of sites

porn stars/models are a dime a dozen.. you dont stay young forever, get your money and invest.

When they work for major studios -- otherwise I'd say that they're a model/amateur.

However, there are a lot of models who wake up one day and think they're huge porn stars.

I would have to agress with what someone else said. When they are a household name they are a porn star, till then they are someone in the biz. Has to be known outside of our community as well as inside.
