Yeah that sucks that the chutes failed.. sure made a dent in Utah when it hit though.
How come they were speculating about just blowing it up? Something unexploded on it like the chute propellant or something?

yeah there was supposed to be an explosion to cut off a smaller parachute and release the bigger one, but that explosion never happened.. not yet at least
