I was getting worried for a moment :-)

I used to mildly obsessive about doing things "from scratch" with fresh and discrete ingredients but now I just can't be bothered... I use a jar of pasta sauce as my base. :1orglaugh

Not that this has anything to do with real life...

BUT.. :) Dunno why... I never buy this stuff, but I bought tomatoes yesterday (exciting eh?)...

They looked OK and are OK... it was the price that sounded silly...
30 cents for 2.2 lbs. I'm just not used to paying silly prices like that :-)

I suppose that is the cost of fruit/veg where I am in Costa Rica - it just sounded too absurb! :) Dunno what they cost elsewhere...
