Why do you work?
 

In order to make it in this world all you need is a couple of meals a day and some shelter..so why do you work?

Is it for toys?

Is it for a comfortable future?

Or is it because you would die if you didn't have the drive to accomplish something each day?

you still have to pay the bills ;)

And what in case of a disease? You're fucked, no $$$ for meds and treatment :2 cents:

I oversimplified things but I think you get the point.

When I say shelter, I'm of course referring to bills that are included with that...and to focus on just that is missing out on the question...why do you work?

i work for 2 reasons...for a living and for my future..:thumbsup

if i had kids i would work for them and their future

i work because i love the internet and it's fun..
i also work so i can afford the finer things in life..
i also work so my kids will always have the best if everyhing and not have to envy the 'other kids' at school's bling bling.

A little bit of each really.

I work to be able to afford to buy a secluded peice of land where I can grow my own "medicinal marijuana" and food

but it's a good question, you know you can just go and sit naked on some cliff in india or thailand and just live life :)

we work to have money...
need money to buy things...
things that we need to live the style that this world dictates....
this world dictates that we should have everything.....
having everything means success....
we need to be successful to be happy....

you mean the western world... cause if you check out how ppl live in india and i am not talking about the poor bastards :) you don't need much in order to be happy in life.

if money makes you happy then work.

true happiness isn't money or anything that money could buy(although i would be very happy when i'll get my benz) :)
